This apartment is the ultimate SF experience. A short walk to iconic SF landmarks including Washing Square, Fisherman's Wharf and Coit Tower. North Beach is one of SF's oldest and best neighborhoods and Grant Avenue is at the heart of it all. World class restaurants, biking, walking and easy access to cable cable cars and public transportation. The apartment has a Wow Factor when you first step inside. It's beautifully decorated, impeccably clean and stocked with everything you need. This is a rare find on Telegraph Hill with private deck and a garage. I stayed 6 months. It was beyond all my expectations.

We had an amazing stay in San Francisco over the holidays. The apartment is modern and beautifully decorated with the top of the line appliances, furniture and linens. An outdoor deck/patio and the garage are additional perks.This North Beach location is amazing. Very quiet yet walkable to North beach attractions, Fisherman's Wharf, and the Ferry Building. Judy was so helpful and welcoming during our stay. Her property is so well cared for and managed. She is a real professional. Having rented several apartments in SF over the years this is clearly the best and we will be back. Highly recommend this property, 5 stars!

Beautiful and exceptionally clean apartment that has all the extras. The location is fantastic as the apartment is situated on a quiet street, yet convenient to everything. North Beach is a wonderful neighborhood to explore and the walk to the financial district is quite quick. The kitchen has beautiful appliances and the wet bar is a wonderful perk. Similarly, the garage is a huge plus as street parking is difficult to find. I would highly recommend this apartment to anyone looking to make the most out of their time in San Francisco.

We had a fantastic stay during our 6 months in SF at Judy’s house. The price/quality is 5/5! The experience is topped off by Judy herself who is by far the best landlady we ever had. Kind, caring and on top to repair her property so that it remains 5/5. You can see in the pictures the homey feeling you get, and that’s exactly what you need in a harsh place like SF. The apartment has everything you need for 2 persons with absolutely top notch quality materials. Honestly if you see this and reading this and other reviews, contact judy and stop looking further unless your budget streches beyond 8000. She works on the base of honesty and understanding, and will go the extra mile for you.

Exceptionally designed 1 BR. The best use of space in 700 sq ft you could imagine. We held several dinner parties there and 6 adults is no problem at all. We even had 8 for Thanksgiving. The separate dining area with the wet bar makes it all possible. And there is no better location in the city than the west side of Telegraph Hill. 5 Minute walk to dozens of restaurants in North Beach. 20 minute walk to Union Square or the Ferry Building. Located on a quiet 1 way street, you also get access to a garage. Some of the neighbors pay over $300/month for a parking garage. When you do the math with everything included (especially like the premium Xfininty TV Package), the price is impossible to beat. And believe me, we have looked at dozens of units in the same area. None would get close to competing with this unit - unless you wanted to pay more than $8000. We plan to return at some later date to enjoy the best of SF. And 1847 Grant #1 is the place.

This apartment is wonderful,very tastefully decorated with an interior designed quality feel. It is extremely well equipped with quality appliances and furnishings. Everything is new and very clean. Cleaners come weekly and are very through in keeping up a hotel quality appearance . The location is perfect for both the city, tourist spots, and traveling north to Marin, but best of all is Judy who has been delightful. Judy could not have done more to help me during my stay. Immediately responsive, even picking me up from the airport, I could not have asked for more.

I would highly recommend staying in this apartment. I was looking for a place to live for three months whilst I was on a placement from London, and was really struggling to find somewhere in England. I found this on CHBO and contacted Judy, who was extremely helpful. She was (and always is) quick to respond and very kind. She made sure that I made it safely to the flat and has assisted me whenever I need. The apartment is in North Beach, a lovely safe quiet area in the Italian District with a real local feel. I have loved living in this area, you are able to walk to so many areas in the city including a 5 minute walk to the coast and a 25 minute walk to the financial district. The flat itself has been done up very recently and has a beautiful interior. There is a lot of space, especially for one person, with a huge living area, kitchen and dining room. The deck has also been great to have some outdoor space. It is very well equipped with all the amenities you need including washing machine, dryer, dishwasher, alarm, wifi, modern kitchen appliances etc. The flat is cleaned weekly and there is also a garage spot, which is very useful in this city. All in all it really was the perfect place to stay for my time in San Francisco!
