I had a very positive 2 month stay. The apartment is more nicely furnished than any temporary listing I've stayed at before. It is spacious and fully stocked with everything needed for modern living. I found the neighborhood to be safe and it was very easy to get around Chicagoland from there. The landlord is extremely helpful and friendly and I enjoyed many conversations with her.
The apartment is near a major interstate and a train line so it can be helpful to plan ahead with ear plugs or a white noise machine for sleeping if you're a light sleeper like I was, however, the noise is not overly intrusive in the apartment. It didn't take away from a great stay.
Make sure to have a meal at nearby Owen & Engine. You won't regret it.
I loved this place! It's in a cool neighborhood that's easily accessible to the North Side. It's safe, clean and cute and a great deal. The landlord is super responsive and friendly without being the least bit overbearing. Bonus: a very short walk to the Regal City North movie theater around the corner! This is a good one!
