Jeremy A. Blackman, CFA joined LKCM, a $28 billion in assets under management (AUM) advisory firm, in 2012 and serves as a portfolio manager.  Prior to joining LKCM, Mr. Blackman was a Vice President and portfolio manager for Hester Capital Management (HCM) in Austin before it was acquired by LKCM.  Prior to joining HCM in 2006, Mr. Blackman advised on acquisition and divestiture transactions across numerous industries for middle-market public and private companies, subsidiaries of large public companies, and portfolio holdings of private equity groups.  He also worked as an equity research associate for Citigroup Smith Barney in their consumer products group in New York.  Mr. Blackman graduated magna cum laude from the University of Richmond where he majored in Finance and Political Science.  He received his MBA from the University of Texas at Austin, where he was elected Beta Gamma Sigma and served as a manager of the MBA Investment Fund L.L.C.
