I used to advertise solely on Craigslist, and it worked great for awhile, until more and more scammers starting taking advantage of people on that site. Now, most respectable tenants won't trust landlords that advertise on Craigslist and, in turn, I'm tired of weeding out the scammers. On CHBO, I find that tenants are less nervous, because they know that the landlords have had to go through some serious checks and balances to be accepted on that site. And, in turn, the quality of potential tenants is much greater than the random people who show interest from Craigslist. Now, I solely advertise on CHBO and, because they have partnered with so many reputable sites, I no longer need to advertise anywhere else. CHBO comes up in the top search engines, so there's no reason to go elsewhere. You all are amazing. The ad for 7319 garden house was only up a couple of days, when I got a phone inquiry Saturday morning from CHBO, indicating an inquiry email. I emailed right away, called 1/2 hour later. Carline flew in to see the property this Sunday (the next day!) and loves it. She left me a good cash deposit and brings her friend to see it also. At the beginning of year 2008 I have decided to convert my 1 BR condominium into corporate housing rental. I learned that I could list my property on CHBO website. My husband and I read about CHBO while we were living in our mountain house last fall, in Grand Lake, Colorado. We found an article on this internet service in the Denver Post. This has been a great experience so far and due to our house renting Jan -March 2008; this allowed me and my 2 yr old daughter to travel to be with my husband and her Daddy for Christmas.
