Waterfront / Pearl Home Away from Home - Corporate Housing Rental - 15562

We stayed in Sunita and Jaisen’s lovely condo for 5 months. The pictures are accurate, the home is well furnished and very comfortable. We greatly enjoyed the two balcony decks, for meals and watching the river. The river view is a real plus even when it’s rainy. Sunita and Jaisen were terrific host. We had issues with the washer/dryer and stove and they were on it immediately - replaced them and brought flowers and wine. Everything is well stocked. Sunita will be there for you ASAP whatever your needs. The home is located on the River Walk and is also close to the Pearl and we loved walking to 23rd st for dining and shopping. The only drawback is that if you need quiet this place can be noisy when the trains go by in the other side of the river. This would be the case for any condo located on the river. Freight trains are not quiet. All in all, we had a fabulous stay. Security was good here too.

My wife and I had a great month-long stay in this clean, attractive, well-equipped and comfortable unit. The attention to detail by the hosts was extraordinary, and those small handy things like scotch tape, scissors, and public transportation schedules were all close to hand. We found the views from the two balconies overlooking the river and it's working waterfront both relaxing and very entertaining (PS patio furniture was provided although not shown in photographs). We also enjoyed the river walk adjacent to our building up and down the shore. The hosts were very pleasant and responsive to the few requests we had. The unit came equipped with excellent gigabit internet service including TV streaming. A DVD player was also provided. The location with the river to the east, and with Old Towne and the Pearl District to the west, was superb. All forms of intra-city public transport were in easy walking distance. Inter-city AMTRAK services were available out of the nearby Union Station (also easy walking distance). A convenience market was located a the edge of the project was our go-to spot for fresh milk. We never needed a car during our entire stay, but the available parking space is very conveniently located. Although the unit is located in the heart of downtown Portland, the security provided by the project that the unit is a part of made us feel very safe. We recommend this unit for extended stays in Portland very highly.
