The apartment is well kept and well located. The street and building are quiet and safe. The apartment is light and comfortable. The kitchen is well equipped. The beds are comfortable and the sheets and towels are of high quality. The owners met us on arrival and have been helpful and responsive to our questions. The neighborhood is terrific, easily walkable to the Embarcadero, the financial district and the BART, with many restuaurants and shopping an easy walk away. The parking space is very useful. Overall we had a very nice and confortable stay.
My parents and I stayed in this apartment for three months started August. The owners were really nice and easy on the lease application process, they agreed for me to move in my electronic piano and rearrange the furniture a bit. The location of the apartment would please people who want an urban life, it is in walking distance to Chinatown, which we visited a lot during our stay, dozens of bars and restaurants. Walgreens, Washington Square, printing service, USPS, Dry-cleaning are all within 3 blocks or so. And it is only 2 blocks away from the Coit Tower, on which you get a great view of San Francisco. The apartment itself is genuinely comfortable and well maintained, all the appliances work well, we’ve never had any problem with anything during our stay – only a few light bulbs went off, and there’s pretty much everything one would need, the courtyard is a nice area to enjoy the sun, my mom spent lots of time there. The only downside is the price, but considering the San Francisco standard and comparing to other furnished apartments, it’s a pretty good deal. I’m currently working in San Jose, but if I were to work in San Francisco, I would rent the place again.

My husband and I spent two fabulous months in this apartment, which was the perfect spot for us -- we could walk to groceries, to the Financial District to work, the Embaracero/Ferry Building area plus we were a quick walk from dozens of bars and restaurants and coffee shops in North Beach. The building has an elevator, which we used when we had luggage, and there was always plenty of hot water for showers. When we weren't grabbing Golden Boy slices and instead decided to cook, we found everything we needed in the kitchen, including placements, a potato ricer, wine opener, etc. There is a great view of the cathedral spires and Golden Gate Bridge, and there is even a mirror hung so it reflects that view if you are sitting on the sofa. We just loved the neighborhood -- a wonderful cleaners around the corner, a bar where we joined other Arsenal supporters for matches, a short climb to Coit Tower, red, white and green lights at night down in the heart of North Beach -- but the building is uphill from the noise and hustle and bustle. The owner met us when we arrived and told us his favorite restaurants and was quick to respond to every question we had, and the other residents were friendly. I would definitely reach out to JD if we want to return for a stay in San Francisco -- it met all our needs and was a wonderful experience. Thank you!
