Barbara’s place is the best one in New York we ever went to — and my wife and I have been to quite a lot of places there for business. It is obvious that a great deal of thought has gone into this apartment. There are a lot of spots to store your things. So that gives you a lot of space to use. You can also see that a lot of thought has gone into it from quality appliances, excellent technology, the style and layout, and in details small and large. The open kitchen is great, gives you counter space to prepare your meals. The location is perfect, a few minutes away from Central Park, from the subway and from nice bars and restaurants in Columbus and Amsterdam Avenue. Still the street itself is quiet and we were not disturbed by traffic noise in the night. Barbara’s apartment is impeccable, it is clean, not just clean, but impressively clean to a super standard. We have never stayed anywhere cleaner.

The apartment is not just a gem, it's an entire jeweled box! This upper west side treasure has all new furnishings and fixtures. The living room is comfortable and also hosts a banquette table and a study nook in addition to a huge flat screen TV and Sonos sound system. The light-filled bedroom has built in cabinets and closets so the space is maximized with no clutter. The kitchen is top notch with a gourmet gas stove and dishwasher. And laundry in unit made my life so much easier. The apartment is right between Central Park West and Columbus Ave, so I was able to walk around the Jackie O Reservoir in the morning and sample excellent restaurants at night. The B and C subways are a block away too so I could go down or up town with ease. I cannot say enough good things about this lovely apartment, I only hope it's available the next time I want to visit NYC.
